Sparkassen-Arena Göttingen

The "Sparkassen-Arena" is a multi-purpose hall. It is mainly used by BG Göttingen, a first division basketball team, Tanzsportteam Göttingen, a first division dance-team, different sport-events like indoor football and as well as a venue for the yearly fairytale on rollerskates presented by the skaters of 1.RC Göttingen. It is also used by the students of the adjacent Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium for school sports. Concerts by the Göttingen Synphonic Orchestra have also taken place here. Depending on the event, a spectator capacity of around 3400 is available. For the Artistic World Cup there will be about 1200 seats in addition to the reserved seats for participants and officials.
